Windmill Photography uses Nikon digital cameras including the D2X, D2H, D200, D70 and D100.  The Nikon system is known for its incredible image quality as well terrific ergonomics and compatibility.  We use Nikon lenses as well, with the 28-70 f/2.8, the 70-200 f/2.8 VR and the 85 1.4 being our favorites.  These lenses are known too for being some of the best ever made and we think it shows in our photographs. 

Our lights are mostly Alien Bees, which we pair with Photoflex softboxes and umbrellas.  The Alien Bee lights work great in every situation we've put them in and are incredibly lightweight and portable for location shoots.  They are also backed by the best customer service in the photographic equipment arena, which is something that we appreciate and try to emulate.
